Retrofitting an existing facility with newer equipment is natural business practice. Technological improvements often make the newer equipment more efficient and effective than the ones you are replacing. For electricity driven equipment, this is almost certainly the case.

We appreciate that when your business is making choices with regards to equipment replacement options, the desired choice is for the most efficient solution. Unfortunately, this desired solution is not always realized often due to financial reasons.

The Ontario Power Authority (OPA), in cooperation with Welland Hydro-Electric System Corp., want to help you achieve your desired solution by offering you the Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP). Extended until December 31, 2010, ERIP offers you financial incentives for retrofits that result in peak demand savings and/or a reduction in annual electricity consumption.

We hope you will be able to join us for an information session designed to explain the ERIP program, and how it can benefit you. In addition, there will be several lighting experts on hand to provide you with information regarding new, and affordable, lighting technologies currently available.
