Conservation Programs

OPA Every Kilowatt CountsThe Every Kilowatt Counts (EKC) program is a resource with information about programs, services and actions you can take to achieve greater efficiency in your home and business. You’ll also learn about the benefits of energy efficiency.

EKC is brought to you by the Ontario Power Authority. The Ontario Power Authority’s mission is to contribute to the development of a reliable and sustainable electricity system. They do this by promoting conservation and the efficient use of electricity, as well as by ensuring adequate electricity supply from a variety of sources.

Conservation Programs

The Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (ERIP) offers financial incentives to commercial, industrial, institutional and agricultural businesses to retrofit their facilities with energy efficient technologies that results in energy savings and/or electricity demand reductions.
